Summary


The IT&S program trains engineers able to adapt to changing languages and technologies and competent for designing, implementing and integrating complex information systems. The first professions concerned by the training are mainly design and development businesses (designer/ application developer/ network, system, and security engineer) and project manager or consulting engineer in project management. As such, the engineers of the IT&S program can fit within many branches of industry, mainly the information technology sectors or any other requiring such skills.

Entry requirements


To be admitted into Year 1 of the engineering course (at two years of post-secondary study), students must have completed two years of preparatory courses (science-track or Institute of Technology common preparatory program) or have earned an undergraduate degree from a university (in France, mainly DUT, L2 or L3).

Program


Grenoble INP Esisar is a 5-years-study engineering school. For the general organization of the studies, please see the Overview section on the school's website.
Courses activities consist in Lectures, Tutorials and Lab sessions. A first internship takes place between the 1rd and the 2th year of the Engineering program. Semester 8 is devoted to the realization of the Industrial project, a pedagogical originality of Esisar. Then, the final semester is the end of Study Project, a 5 months' internship to realize a major project on your own.

Semesters 5 and 6

First year of the engineering curriculum, providing a bachelor degree in Engineering Science:  

Semesters 7 to 8

 

Semester 10

Semester 10 is spent entirely on the Graduation Project and associated internship.

Board of examiners

Each semester is worth 30 ECTS credits, spread out over the different courses completed. Students must obtain a grade of at least 10/20 in each course to obtain the credits.
