Since 2010, Grenoble Institute of Technology, hosting Esisar among its six schools, stands out amongst the 500 world’s top universities in Engineering and Technology, notably in “Material Sciences”, “Electrical engineering”, “Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering” and “Computer Science” subject areas, according to the QS World University Rankings 2016.

Grenoble INP accordingly ranks as the second leading higher education institution in France in the "Engineering - Electrical & Electronic" field. Grenoble INP also ranks 88th in the world in terms of Engineering, according to the 2014 ranking of the best global universities established by the US News and World Report.
