Summary


The IT&S program trains engineers able to adapt to innovative languages and technologies and able to design, implement and integrat complex information systems.
The main career opportunities are mainly design and development businesses (designer/ application developer/ network, system, and security engineer) and project manager or consulting engineer in project management. As such, the engineers of the IT&S program can fit within many sectors of industry, mainly the information technology sectors or any other requiring such skills.

SecNumEdu
It received the SecNumEdu label since 2018. This label is awarded to degrees in digital security compliant with criteria given by the National Cybersecurity Agency of France (ANSSI).

Entry requirements

Esisar is one of the few Engineering schools where you can enter just after high school.

  • Admission into Year 1: International (or French) Baccalaureate or High school diploma.
  • Admission into Year 3: Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate degree (in Science or Engineering) or undergraduate degree from a university.
  • Admission into Year 4: Bachelor degree (in Science or Engineering) from a university with a B grade average.

French level requirements: proof of minimum B2 level (university studies in French language or French language certificate).

Tuition fees

EU students: 601€/year
Non-EU students: 2,770€/year for Year 1 and 2 and 3,770€/year from Year 3 to Year 5

The institution applies the rules incurring the payment of differentiated fees by non-E.U students.
The full amount of the owed registration fees is not necessarily to be paid at the start of the academic year: an instalment plan of payment may be scheduled.

In addition, the admitted students will receive information about the various scholarships available to Grenoble INP-UGA students.

Finally, if the personal situation justifies it, a partial or total exemption may be decided upon, on request, by the Student Social Commission. The Commission's decision is based on a social evaluation and an examination of the financial resources of the student and her/his family. Exemption from registration fees cannot be guaranteed, as the number of exempted students is limited by national regulations.

Program

The EIS specialization is divided into the last 6 semesters within the 5-year engineering curriculum.
IR&C specialization

Courses activities consist in Lectures, Tutorials and Lab sessions.
Our students will get the opportunity to gather experience during their studies:

  • a 6-8 week technician internship at the end of Year 3
  • the industrial project, unique to Esisar, at semester 8
  • a final year project in a company or laboratory at semester 10

Board of examiners

Each semester is worth 30 ECTS credits, spread out over the different courses completed. Students must obtain a grade of at least 10/20 in each course to obtain the credits.
