Could you introduce yourself and tell us more about your academic background?
Hello!
My name's Adlane Hichem. I'm 24, and I'm currently a student in MISTRE Master at Esisar.
I'm originally from Algeria, and I graduated from my university there with a Master’s degree in Embedded Systems Engineering after a Bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering.
What motivated you to come and study at Esisar?
I’ve always wanted to study abroad and after finishing my studies back home, I realized that I still wanted to expand my knowledge and skills in the field of electronics, which eventually led me to come and study at Esisar.
I chose Esisar for many reasons but the most important ones being that Esisar is one of the best engineering schools in France, the contents of the Esisar program and the fact that it is being held in English.
How is your stay here?
My stay here in Valence and at ESISAR has been magnificent. Valence at first glance may seem like a small city with limited activities, but once you get to know it, you will realize that it is way more than that.
You benefited from the TRUST scholarship, how did it help you during your stay?
Before getting the scholarship, I was worried about my financial state and the fact that I'm coming from a foreign country, where not the same currency was used, made me worry about it more.
Obtaining the scholarship was a big sigh of relief for me, I felt way more comfortable and less stressed overall, which led me to focus more on my studies and enjoy Valence more.
A few words to resume your experience at Esisar? Would you recommend Esisar to your friends?
It was no secret for me before coming to France that Esisar was one of the best engineering schools in France, and that opinion of mine hasn't changed one bit. I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to study at Esisar, and I'm actually a bit sad that it’s coming to an end already haha!
I’ve actually recommended it to some of my friends already :)
An advice for newcomers?
Short answer would be to enjoy and take advantage of the things that Esisar is providing to you while you can. I personally feel like I learned more about myself here at Esisar than anywhere else.
The long answer, however, would be to do as many activities and meet as many new people as you can and to develop both your soft and hard skills, with the tools provided to you by the school.
