Since its launch eighteen years ago, the Eiffel Excellence Program attracts brilliant international students to pursue their master’s and PhD studies in the best French higher education institutions.

Among the successful candidates this year, a student from Bach Khoa University (formerly Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology) in Vietnam has been awarded the Eiffel scholarship to study in Esisar.

Minh-Hoa Bui is the fifth student from Bach Khoa University to get an Eiffel grant to join Esisar, in three consecutive years.

The academic skills of the awardees thus confirm the excellence of their university and of our partnership within the PFIEV program, the Vietnamese-French Training Program for Excellent Engineers. Created in 1997, the PFIEV program is a consortium of nine major French high schools*, including Grenoble INP as founding member. This joint program is established in four Vietnamese universities (Hanoï Polytechnic Institute, Hô Chi Minh City University, Danang University and Hanoï University of Civil Engineering) and trains more than 200 high-class engineers per year.

Studying Mechatronics at Bach Khoa University, Minh-Hoa combines excellent academic results with precise career objectives, and a remarkable community involvement for his young age (22 years old), which made him a brilliant candidate for the Eiffel program.
He has been rewarded by prominent academic distinctions, among which notably: a consolation prize in the national "ViOlympic" contest, the Odon Vallet study grant, and the title of “student with 5 qualities” in the following fields: academic accomplishment, ethics, physical fitness, involvement as a volunteer and integration.
Minh-Hoa has a strong commitment in social activities aiming to improve local populations’ lives, as well as those of underprivileged and disabled people. He is also involved as organizer of a French culture festival in Bach Khoa University.

We are proud to welcome him for two academic years.
