Top Students Hackers from Esisar in New York!
A team of four students from Esisar is among the finalists of the prestigious Embedded Security Challenge organized by the New York University Tandon School of Engineering.
Congratulations to Cyril Bresh, Adrien Michelet-Gignoux, Thomas Meyer, Laurent Amato and their professor David Hély who will represent Grenoble INP - Esisar for the finals in New York on November 10-12, 2016.
The Esisar team has been selected by the jury, along with teams from six other universities, for the ninth annual Embedded Security Challenge (ESC). Dealing with the security and trustworthiness of hardware, ESC is an educational, research-oriented tournament aimed at hacking into the hardware of embedded systems. This competition, the oldest and largest hardware hacking in the world, is also the most difficult event at New York University Tandon School of Engineering’s annual Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW) games for students.
In 2016, for the first time in ESC history, the competition includes the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) and will be world-wide with finals held simultaneously in the United States and India.

About the NYU Tandon School of Engineering
The NYU Tandon School of Engineering dates to 1854, when the New York University School of Civil Engineering and Architecture as well as the Brooklyn Collegiate and Polytechnic Institute (widely known as Brooklyn Poly) were founded.
