The EIS specialization is multidisciplinary: it trains competent engineers mastering several technological fields (among which electronics, IT, automation) for designing, implementing and integrating complex or embedded systems while respecting the constraints of integration, environment, cost and autonomy.

Specificities


The apprenticeship training is a specific program combining periods at the university and practical training periods in a company. Courses activities alternates with periods of work in a company. Work activities in companies are chosen in agreement with us such that the degree of responsibility and autonomy increases progressively in time.

Entry requirements


To be admitted into Year 1 of the engineering course (at two years of post-secondary study), students must have completed two years of preparatory courses (science-track or Institute of Technology common preparatory program) or have earned an undergraduate degree from a university (in France, mainly DUT or L2).
Specific legal eligibility criteria exist for the training in apprenticeship:

  • To have the French nationality or a European one within the Shangai region,
  • For non European, to live in France the year before admisson, with a valid "titre de séjour" (residence permit).

However, courses are open to all exchange students.

The apprenticeship training is a specific program combining periods at the university and practical training periods in a company. This specific feature is offered from the 3rd year onward up to the 5th year of the school curriculum:


Semesters 1 and 2 

Year 1 curriculum, providing a bachelor degree in Engineering Science:

Board of examiners

Each semester is worth 30 ECTS credits, spread out over the different courses completed. Students must obtain a grade of at least 10/20 in each course to obtain the credits.
