Goals

The purpose of this course is to study particules motions modeled by a weighing systems subjected to a set of external forces. The course will consist of the study of motion characteristics (kinematic) and correlation between motiont its physical causes (dynamic).

Content

Acquire skills in :

  • Hypotheses of classical mechanics.
  • Isolate a point object.
  • Motion description in different coordinate systems developed.
  • Understand and know how to calculate the acceleration of a mobile for any trajectory.
  • Write and analyze external action exerted on a material point.
  • Understand and know how to use the Fundamental Principle of Dynamics (FPD).
  • Write and solve the dynamics equations governing the motion of a material point.
