Goal(s)

The course will consist of the study of motion characteristics (kinematic) and correlation between motiont its physical causes (dynamic).

This course will enable students to calculate mechanics actions exerted on a rigid solid that is fixed (static) or mobile (dynamic), but also to determine the system of differential equations governing motion of a solid over time.

Responsible(s)

Nicolas CHARROUD

Content(s)

  • Understand and know how to use the Fundamental Principle of Dynamics (FPD).
  • Write and solve the dynamics equations governing the motion of a material point.
  • Knowing and using force torsor
  • Describing, representing, analyzing and modeling a system point of view kinematic
  • Understanding and knowing how to use Fundamental Principle of Statics (FPS)
  • Knowing and using inertia matrices (Huygens' theorem)
  • Understanding and knowing how to use Fundamental Principle of Dynamics (FPD)
