Goal(s)
This course gives an introduction to decentralized artificial intelligence and multiagent systems. It thus offers students an interest in "intelligent systems" in which several agents/ robots/things cooperate in order to collectively offer a complex service or solve a problem. The course will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of their analysis, design and deployment. Particular attention will be given to interaction models, organizational models and the articulation of individual and collective decision-making. An introduction to safety and trust management in decentralized and distributed systems will be provided.
