Goals

This course will enable students to calculate mechanics actions exerted on a rigid solid that is fixed (static) or mobile (dynamic), but also to determine the system of differential equations governing motion of a solid over time.

Content

  • Knowing and using reduction elements
  • Knowing and using force torsor
  • Describing, representing, analyzing and modeling a system point of view kinematic
  • Understanding and knowing how to use Fundamental Principle of Statics (FPS)
  • Knowing and using inertia matrices
  • Understanding and knowing how to use Huygens' theorem
  • Understanding and knowing how to use Fundamental Principle of Dynamics (FPD)
